You may notice that from time to time, I may include affiliate links in some of my blog posts. I'd like to take a moment to explain why I do this, how it helps me keep my blog running, and which companies I partner with for my affiliate program.
To start, running a blog isn't free. In fact, it cost me almost $500 this year to pay for the platform, domain, and supporting software that makes my blog and recipe posts possible. While I absolutely love writing and sharing my thoughts and recipes with all of you, it does come with a cost.
That's where affiliate links come in. Essentially, these links allow me to earn a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on a link I've shared. It doesn't cost you anything extra - the commission comes from the retailer or company whose product you purchase. And I often only get a commission if you purchase the same day you clicked the link!
I want to assure you that I only include affiliate links for products and services that I genuinely believe in and or have personally used. Integrity is extremely important to me, and I would never recommend something solely for the sake of earning a commission.
That being said, the commission earned from affiliate links isn't enough to cover the cost of running my blog - at least not yet. But my hope is that by including them, I can offset some of the expenses and continue to provide quality content for all of you to enjoy.
So, if you do click on an affiliate link and make a purchase, know that you're helping to support my blog and keep it going. And if you'd rather not use an affiliate link, that's totally okay too - you can simply search for the product on your own.
Thank you all for your continued support and for taking the time to read this. I truly appreciate it!
